Aerospace composites manufacturer Atlas Composites celebrated 15 years at the forefront of UK composites manufacturing with a day at Doncaster Races on Friday 29th June.

Staff old and new joined Atlas Composites Managing Director Shaun Moloney at the famous St Ledger course, with the emphasis very much on rewarding the Atlas workforce for their continued hard work and dedication.
In the last 18 months Atlas Composites has undergone intensive scrutiny of its manufacturing processes to achieve AS9100 Rev C, the Quality Management Standard required to meet the rigorous demands of flight critical applications for commercial and military aircraft, both fixed and rotary wing.
On the course and with attentions firmly fixed on the 8 race card the Atlas team of composite engineers, laminators and fitters tried their hands at being top tipsters.
Reflecting on the importance of the day Atlas Composites MD Shaun Moloney said “Today was all about giving something back and saying thank you to all our staff.”
“A day at the races was the perfect opportunity to maintain the team spirit that has seen Atlas Composites become one of the leading manufacturers of composite components to the commercial and military aerospace sector” Moloney added.
Despite a healthy spattering of winners amongst Atlas’ 68 strong workforce its fair to say that there won’t be any radical racing pundit career changes in the Atlas ranks any time soon.
