Atlas Composites have moved to strengthen their Quality Management Team with the recent appointment of Andrew Clarke to the position of Quality Systems Manager.
Andrew will succeed John Davie – or JD as he has affectionately become known to his colleagues – who joined Atlas Composites in October 2001, and who retires at the end of May as one of its longest serving employees.
The latest addition to the Atlas Composites management team brings with him a genuine ‘hands on’ passion for composites manufacturing having worked with a multitude of Motorsport brands from the late 80′s onwards including Ralt, March, Renault, Brabham and more recently Jordan.

A strong advocate of the philosophy ‘right first time’, Andrew explains “I’m delighted to be joining one of the most respected companies within the UK composites industry.”

“Having recently relocated to the Derbyshire area i’m looking forwards to the new experience and the challenge of working in such a dynamic environment.“
Speaking of his new appointment Atlas Composites MD Shaun Moloney enthused.

“To maintain our position as one of the UK’s most accredited and trusted composite manufacturers Andrew will oversee our current AS9100 Rev C Quality Management System as well our continued drive towards SC21 Bronze recognition”
Atlas Composites currently employs a total of 68 staff at its 25,000 square foot advanced engineering facility in Ilkeston.
